What is your business? Koress Clothing, I design and manufacture Urban street wear with a sporting and surf influences. Koress Clothing style was initially inspired by early old school hip hop style when women wore less feminine, baggy, oversized and layered clothing. Koress Clothing brings back this sporty, baggy, tom boy style while keeping a strong feminine look, with a surf style influence, which makes the most of the female figure. It is a clothing range for those who want to wear casual wear but with a unique style.

I have been trading since April this year but have been working on the concept for longer
What did you do before it?
I graduated from John Moores University in 2005 and worked in the industry before starting my business venture.
What makes you unique?
Koress Clothing has a unique style offering limited lines for those who love to wear something original and stand out from the crowd.
What are your plans to make the most of Capital of Culture?
Liverpool is thriving with talent and it’s an exciting and energetic place to be starting a new business this year with plenty of opportunity. It’s also a very inspiring place to be working and I plan to absorb as much as possible.
